JP’s Estate Sales provides full-service estate sale and auction services across Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. They were ready to establish their first professional online presence.
During discovery, I identified several foundational needs:
– a website
– a domain
– branded email
– an updated logo
– a clear structure for showcasing upcoming and past sales
– a reliable lead-capture system
They also needed help reorganizing dense copy, improving photo presentation, and giving in-person estate sale visitors an easy way to submit intake requests.
Chose Squarespace for fast deployment and simple long-term maintenance. Built a clean site structure: Home → Services → Upcoming Sales → Past Sales → FAQ → Contact. Rewrote and reorganized dense copy into smaller, clearer sections to improve readability and storytelling flow.
Designed a new logo integrating the J and P into an infinity-shaped monogram and a house silhouette—symbolizing continuity, new beginnings, and the home as the center of each estate sale. Edited and retouched photos, removed distracting backgrounds, and converted assets to .webp for faster load speeds.
Set up optimized meta titles and descriptions. Added clear geographic markers to boost local search visibility. Created FAQ and Testimonial sections to strengthen trust and search relevance.
For the Past Estate Sales page, I used screenshots of each sale’s full gallery. This subtly conveys the volume of cataloging and photography required—showcasing the care and detail that goes into each estate sale.
Added email capture forms that automatically sync to Google Sheets. Created a static QR code for in-person estate sales that links directly to the intake form.
Registered the domain via Bluehost. Configured DNS for seamless Squarespace + Google Workspace integration. Set up branded email addresses and custom email signatures for consistency.
Provided onboarding videos showing how to update the website. Maintained real-time communication via email and text throughout the project to ensure everything launched on schedule.
